Where Does Your Gold Leaf Come From?

I came across this and thought it might be nice to share with you guys and gals. Also a nice little segway into introducing the latest addition to the Signoholics forums. Brothers and sisters of the brush - please welcome the Signoholics AnyMedia Upload system!

In addition to posting YouTube and similar video hosting site URLs you can now also upload, direct from your pc - video and music files! Just upload them as a regular attachment (using the paper clip icon above the posting window) and the rest is automatic. To post YouTube etc. videos - simply copy the URL. Hit the Media tags icon (big blue 'M') on the tool bar above the posting window then paste the URL in between the tags. Then submit your post. We'd love you to share videos of your work or maybe something really cool that you've spotted on your travels. How about treating us to some of the music you make ... Mark? :D Have fun!

Oh yes! The gold leaf ... these are the guys that beat the gold - can you imagine doing this for eight hours plus a day?

If one begins to feel they have it rough, all they need to do is look around a bit to gain a clearer perspective. Amazing, surely automation is more a part of this process in other locations. When I think about the backbreaking tasks involved to produce the leaf, I feel a sense of responsibility to insure the final products I create with it, meet the highest level of quality I am capable of.
