http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22261 if you look farther from this link you notice that he took a font I created for a customer and he did A-Z although flaterd that it was taken farther and for someone to like it, but not done well, and missing the real look and caricature of the font

.... I would like to really make this the way it was meant and take it further with but upper and lower plus numbers etc.....what next ??? do I hand paint each one, adobe cs3 in school has showen me thats not easy to do and get it accurate ...corelX3 might be easier ?? but not gotten that far yet

what burns me up is that several of my works have been copyed and used
in the last 6 months a sign I did was.. copyed words, colors, design, layout. now this font copyed and made A-Z
not sure what to do or how to react

I would post a reply on that forum informing others of what took place for starters.I noticed others downloaded it as he offered it up as a free font for public download.

After posting I noticed my avatar, I did not put that there. I do not love vinyl, at all. How did that appear? Been hand lettering for over 30 years. Should say "I love 1-shot".

Jerry! Then go to ur user CP & Change the blinking thing, its their complete with bubbles & pealing heart for 'reverse' insperation my friend- or I love 'Ronnan, Craftmaster or Speedlinner?- perhaps, an image of you or your card or business logo its your choice dude.

I checked out the link, the sign looks great. The problem is, if you don't want inspire people, then the the only way is to do boring work. If you inspire people then you are often better than them, or can take them to a place they had not been. So accept and be happy, and if what they do is not up to your standard then surly that should please you. If you want to show us what you wanted, then you will have to do it yourself when you know how. Be happy my friend, your work looks fab.

thank you nobby ... guess I was looking for someone to say just that .. and you said it well ... cause I surely would rather inspire at the very least and continue doing my very best ..and not worry about ppl copying what I do and think that I'm missing out on something
