Hi All
What's your favourite Airbrush, and why ?
Just thought this would be an interesting one to throw open.
With all the great talent there is out there it'll be interesting to see what your
favourites are that help you all 'come up with the goods' evvvvvvery time,
Cheers,
"Barney".
Fab! I've often poked the hornets nest that is MAC or PC, but never thought of this. All those Pasche Turbo snobs or the Iwata Micron etc. I despise Badgers, but have seen some great work from people who use them. I'm convinced they hide something else under the table and get it out when no-one is watching. If it were a pick from my box it would always be my Micron, however i am a whore and if someone wants to pay me loads to use theirs then that'll be fine, as the most important bit of kit is the idiot holding it.
PS i want to have a trawl round Germany to see whats on offer their, there were some interesting items a few years ago.

haaaa well for me guys it has to be the unbreakable throw anything through it even neat "one shot" at 80psi Crescendo Badger Airbrush!!
Its just unfortunate they have stopped making this big fat cigar like double action wonder, but fortunate for me I bought the last 5 from machine mart, when they had em on offer for £60 each!, stick a big needle in em & wide head and you got your finicky illustrators airbrush & SP touch up gun all in one, Jeepers I have even sprayed a whole van with one of these things & I know of many more who swear by em, mine even resemble my paint mountain- caked in paint & still going strong....
hooray the Crescendo!
You see what i mean. Always a Badger round the corner. Badger got it right some time ago getting the things in the shops when other airbrushes were speciality things. Good for you Signoholic, though a shiver goes down my spine as i say it!!!!

Thanks Guys, nice to see my first post get a reaction.
Your right Nobby, it's us 'idiots' hangin' on the end of 'em, and what we do with 'em while we're 'at it' that matters.
Cheers.

Can't say I have enough experience with an airbrush to have a favorite. Just when I started getting used to my Badger Anthem, I broke it and replaced it with an Iwata HP-BC1. I guess I like the action of the Iwata better, but I haven't really gotten used to it yet.
I should ask what the experienced users think about having an assortment to choose from. I'll start a different post on that sometime. I would imagine one could expect one airbrush to do detail better than another while the other airbrush might be better at a different part of the work -- pretty much like the difference between a flat and a liner or quill.
