That really fits in with the feel of that lovely old building.
I see what you did on the shadow side of the letters. Must try that sometime in a design.

Nice work Wayne. The image I get of england that all the shops are old buildings and they have long skinny panels as there signage. Is that right? I have never been outside of australia

Great work Wayne!
Chunkie is right on. The lettering fits the building.

I can't tell from here but is it totally freehand or is there a pounce pattern involved? I'm sure I'd spell it 'Patrick Muirhe' if I laid it out freehand as I'd run out of space.
Well.....My bit of Englands like that! ( thats how I do sooo much hand lettering)
Yes chunk- pounce pattern...hand drawn of course ( too bloomin cold to stand and mark all that out on site mate)

Beautiful Work Wayne...this is typical of alot of Older English shop fronts and Wayne has nailed the look as it should be, not of the HORRIBLE vynull **** that is worldwide. Thanks for showing the great in-progress pictures Wayne, a true craftsman! bravo!
Gee thanks everybody.
Its a beautiful shop inside too!- a real english gem..(gents outfitters)- with brass bell when you enter the door- tiny office with safe let in the wall- mahogony cabinets and shelves ( with mahogany hand written gilded labels of course!)
It was a butchers for 200 years!- all those windows were added in the 1800's- the front of the shop was open during the day..and shuttered at night.
It still had the mea hooks in the cieling and marble slap counter under that wonky window!

Lovely work, Wayne.
I also like rear-view shots of hunky sign guys!
The building itself sounds quite interesting.
I love old stuff like that.
Love....Jill
