Here's a job that I was going to sub out on a digital print. The only catch was that I was a bit intimidated with trying manipulate an architect's rendering to make it fit my customer's needs, (he wanted changes like the lamp post, and remove trees.) I know Flexisign and that's about it. I should delve into Photoshop some day but not this year..?
Anyway, I went old school on this and then added the graphics with Vynull, why vynull? Well, Jake, it's like this, when it comes to the mundain copy that just cannot go any further to make it look good....and it's just a read of who's who, I gotta hand it over to vynull to do the no brainer stuff.....while I am painting, the plotter cuts my lettering. Time cut in half.
 Enuf squakin, let's get to lookin..
This is me paintin and blending....

To make things go faster and more acurate, I use transparencies and beam it on with an overhead projector......works fur me!

Great rendering of the architect"s drawing. I see nothing wrong with using vinyl for sub-copy. Look at it this way, would you rather dig a hole with a tablespoon or a pair of post hole diggers?
Go Bubba Go!!!!

I think vinyl is fine for lots of stuff but I would.
Wicked job there Mike. I love what you did to the architects image and the layout is effective too.
Excellent work.

Yesterday, after I posted these pictures, I lso emailed them to a large construction company that I only just started doing some work for (thru a friend's word of mouth)...so I thought, hey, why not show them what else I can do. There's nothing more frustrating then to see something locally being done, (sign wise), and I never got a chance to even BID! Why? Because they "Didn't know I did that kind of work" hmmm.
Have I failed to making my customer know of all the types of signs I can make?
I guess I have. well, only one way to do that, and it isn't by wasting money on yur average newspaper and other meaningless ads. Time to practice what I preach....I've been telling every customer what I am possible of doing....even if they don't care. They will remember it.
I have many ideas for my building, INSIDE and OUTSIDE....stay tuned........
