My new logo

Well, it's about time I did a new logo for myself, and as you all well know, designing for yourself is hell! This is what I came up with. i wanted to loosen up the feel of our new logo as compared to what we had in the past (go to www.brushworksigns.com to see the old logo) and use something hand lettered as opposed to an "off the shelf font" I will unveiling the new logo on a bus bench back that we have thru-out our town here. So drumroll please...............

Lovely looking logo... not keen on the background behind the brush, but thats probably just a personal preference rather than anything else... bloody nice work!

Is that your workshop in the background? Any chance we could have a sneaky look at where you work? Always fascinates me to see the working environments of makers of signs... ir's an insight into another world to me.

Great Looking design Dave I'm glad you said its hell designing your own stuff, just thought it was me, I can design a customer logo in10 mins & love it, when it comes to mine I can spend 10 hours on it & hate it, I change my logo like the weather, one day I might get it right!

I have seen Dave's logos thru the years and they just keep getting better and better, just when you think, man, that's the best you can do with that design and those colors, he pulls another out of the hat..BAM!

I like your "old" logo as well, but like you said this one has a little more of a custom font feel.
