Does anyone have any pictures of scrolls and fancy bits please? I'm finding it hard to come up with something for the corner and edge centres on a piece.

Get yourself one of Mike Jackson's CDs, or google Gary Godby who sells scrolls and panel clipart by the piece. There's a lot of good stuff out there, if you look.
