View Full Version : old work
Was having a mass tidy up in the workshop today and found all this old glass work in a box tucked away. I'll put them in age order.
This first one was done around 1975 ish when I was still in the RAF it was the squadron signwriter who took me under his wing if you pardon the pun and started teaching me.
Fast forward to about 85ish did this house number and was my first real atempt at glue chipping. never got put up as we moved house
Fast forward again to 97 and my first letterheads meet hosted by Jon Leeson. Painted glass.
2002 Ashley Bishops meet, first met Steve B here, only one I've ever got round to framing.
When I've got spare time from mainstream signs I have a book called advertising antiques I pick an old sign or poster and try to reproduce it.
