On my way to Wisconsin....crossing the border out of Minnesota is the world famous Red Wing Shoe factory....I wear um and they are GREAT!

here is what it looked like out of my van windscreen as you English call it...

I was behind the snow plow for awhile...

Ok on to the install.....I made the frame out of 1" square tubing, routered a "track" for the tube to go in-between the signs....The signs are made of pink insulation, very light weight.....the cutout letters are HDU and siliconed on the night before....The cone is made out of pink insulation as well...each piece is cut by hand with a jig saw at an angle...23 pieces in all...The "Wafflw" of the cone was done by using weather stripping for around doors....then I used Magic smooth on it and it worked great! The Ice Cream part was with insulation as well, cut with a hack saw, and sanded..then magic smoothe. I first drilled holes for the lags to go....used a rachet driver to screw them down....then I siliconed the "tracks" and made the sign "sandwich!" Then I plopped the ice cream on top with silicone,,, touched er up and BOB's YUR UNCLE!
