This is a sign I have a busy corner about 8 miles from me in another small town ( A town where I used to work at another sign shop, evil people)
It's all Oil paints, RONAN, on Dibond, I think it's 12 feet tall.

It gets quite the looks and comments!!!

And this is where I got the image from...one of my favorite Artists, GIL ELVGREN, from St. Paul Minnesota! He did "Cheesecake girls" for calendars and such. He passed on in the 1980's, sadly a unknown really.

The two girls on my van are also Elvgren Girls.......People have asked me "When are you gonna finish that sign?" I say.."It's DONE, it made you come here and ask me about it didn't you?

THINK OF THE OBVIOUS AND DO THE OPPOSITE!!!!!

I could have done a boring 4ft X 8ft white background sign with a monotonous paragraph of PESCH that they would never read anyway......so why not do something I like, and hopefully others will too!!!!

Also the Lettering on my oval logo is REFLECTIVE, when they turn the corner, it GLOWS!!

This sign has already been defaced with some kids and a spray can making a very amaturish penis on her.......I turned it into insurance and collected enough money to well pay for the materials on the job!
Then I used the One Shot 2 part epoxy "Anti-Graffitti Clear. So far so good......See Tramp, i use One Shot!
In the summer I will occasionally stop, get out and clear away some weeds but for the most part, I think my Dad clears it away for me....It's a mysterious weed killer!!

She looks great Mike. I'd like to see what planning would say if we tried that over here though. They have no concept of design only the letter of the law!

 You really love to show people the way of the art don't you Mike? It's great to see such enthusiasm. If I could afford to come over, I'd be there in a dot I promise. Especially while there's snow!

Wow, Mike, that is great!!!!! You are so creative, & you get me thinking of other possibilities! I have never used Dibond before, but I need to try it.

I love the way you paint pictorials with your brush!

Bobbie you asked me a while ago how to load your Avatar, you just do it in your profile 95x95px from a pic on your pc that’s it, glad you liking all the stuff on here, are you going to enter our panel jam? A great way to truly interact with other signoholic buddies.
